Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution USP Uses

Tobramycin is an antibiotic that belongs to a group of drugs called Aminoglycosides. Aminoglycosides are antibiotics that can be used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including eye infections (conductivities), meningitis, and other infections. This medication is usually used to treat eye infections and bacteria that grow in the eyes. These bacteria can be infectious or harmful, and they produce chemicals called toxins that can damage your tissue and make you sick. This antibiotic works by inhibiting bacterial growth by disrupting the bacteria’ protein synthesis and disrupting their cell membrane, which results in cell death. It is effective against Gram-Negative Bacteria (Gram-Negative bacteria) and Gram-Proteins (Gram-Proteins such as Staphylcus Aureus). It is ineffective against other infections, such as viral, fungal, and parasitic infections. This medication can only be used on prescription, so it is recommended to consult your doctor before taking this medication.
